As I am still in the early stages of my research, the change in Gaelic names was new to me as well so it is has been often difficult for me to confirm the details  eg the Neptune definitely has Ewan and Mary on the ship then suddenly we get Owen or Ewan on birth notes etc.  Apparantly it became spelt often how they said it but it was certainly a new thing to find the Hugh.

The other one in the family tree is Jeanette which I search by Jessie, Shonutta, Janet and John which can apparantly be Ian but I have been able to find too much with either of these.

Hi Cheran,

Are you saying you do not have much on Marian's daughter Janet? I see she married in Frank SMITH 1907. Who is John?

Bit confused.  :-\

Cheers Kris  :)
