Hi

Are you sure this Henry and Amelia is a couple?

The other 2 on the same page were:
William Watson HALL and Dorcas CADDEY

(Perhaps 2 brothers - William Watson HALL and Henry Watson HALL)

Henry Watson HALL and wife named Dorcas are in Wandsworth in 1891, 1901 and 1911

Search the 1911 here for all surname HALL in a household which has other member of the househiold named: Doreas HALL
http://www.1911census.co.uk/search/tnaform.aspx?4

Do you want the Census for Henry & Dorcas  - or is it Amelia ROBERTS who is your main interest?

Cheers

Hi

At first I thought this was going to be difficult because FreeBMD has a death registered 1887 in Wandsworth of a William Watson HALL age 49.

But, then found yours on the 1891 and 1901:

1891: 77 Malvern Road - Willesden, Middlesex
RG12 /  Piece: 1046 /  Folio 125 /  Pg 16
Head: William HALL 41, General Labourer, b Newcastle on T.
Wife: Amelia HALL 26, b Paddington
Son: George HALL 6, b Paddington
Dau: Dorcas HALL 4, b Paddington
Dau: Emily HALL 2, b Paddington

There are 5 households with an address 77 Malvern Road in 1891
Listed directly after the HALL's at that same address  are:
Head: George ROBERTS 66, Labourer Local Board, b Suffolk
Wife: Mary A. ROBERTS 57, b Bermondsey

1901: 59 Malvern Road - Willesden, Middlesex
RG13 /  Piece: 1221 /  Folio: 17 /  Pg 25
Head: William HALL  52, Scaffolder, [worker], b Newcastle Northumberland
Wife: Amelia HALL 37, b Paddington, London
Dau: Dorcas HALL 14, Under pastry Cook, [worker], b Willesden
Dau: Emilie HALL 12, b Willesden
Dau: Millie HALL 8, b Willesden
Dau: Nellie HALL 6, b Willesden
Mother-In-Law: Mary ROBERTS 66, widow, b N.K. Surrey
Sister-in-law: Eliza CLACK 31, widow, Charwoman, [worker], b Paddington London
Dau: Lillie CLACK 7, b Willesden
Son: Charlie CLACK 6, b Hampsted London

So it looks promising that the Henry Watson HALL (who was also born in Newcastle according to his census and who married Dorcas CADDEY) was related.

Cheers

The 1911 is a pay per view census.

Although any of us can view the indexes for free.

Have a play with it yourself you'll be surprised at how much info you can get for free. And if you find the right person you can pay to view a census page for about £3(all depends on how many credits you buy)
