Hi, any info  on family of William Kane (or Kain) married to Hannah Carlin, who left Londonderry around 1847 with his family to settle in Duntocher, Glasgow He was born c1801, father John Kane and mother Unity Dempsy all from the Londonderry area. Sorry to be so vague, but have no idea where to start to find his previous life in Ireland. Help greatly appreciated.
