Hermine Schneider Cologne

After many years of getting nowhere in trying to find out anything about OH's grandmother Hermine Schneider I was very excited to hear fom a relative, that an old aunt had a copy of  an extract of the register of births  for her and would I like  to see it.

Imagine my disappointment when it arrived in the post and I found that part that contained the details of parents had been cut out and destroyed.

As the copy is dated 1963 I think it may have been obtained to help with a pension claim.

On the bright side I now know her correct date and place of birth (12/04/1896 - Koln-Nippes).

It also has a handwritten number, G388/1986 on it, does anyone know if this number would identify the correct birth if I was to apply to get another copy?
