Hi Celia,

Do your records go to 1864 ish?

I am looking for the marriage info for Ann Large from Birkenhead to Thomas Bates of Nantwich area.
I have the quarter of the Marriage from BMD records, but not got the cert yeat
Marriages Sep 1864
Bates  - Thomas - Nantwich  8a 408
Large - Ann - Nantwich  8a 408

I think they were both farm servants tho and they married in Nantwich area, so not sure if there would be an announcement in the Papers in Birkenhead.

Ann's Cencus reports give her place of Births as Birkenhead.

Hi

There is no certainty that he married "into the Dutton" family - as per your other post.  It was just a suggestion that it was a possible marriage as the initials were J G on freebmd

www.cheshirebmd.org.uk

Cheshire Marriage indexes for the years: 1928

WALLEY John George DUTTON Annie Claughton, Christ Church Wirral BK11/4/25

Marriages June qtr 1928
John G Walley  Annie Dutton  Birkenhead  8a 1203

You need to post a new request for a marriage lookup  quoting the names - church and location - quarter in which it took place
