Poverty Books for streets?
« on: Tuesday 02 June 09 21:57 BST (UK) »
Can anyone tell me more about these books?  These are the books that can tell you the status of the families living in a particular street with regard to being poor to wealthy areas. I saw it mentioned on Who Do You Think You Are.

I am aware they have them for London but are they available for other areas within England?  Also are they online?  Thanks in advance.

I think you are referring to Booth's povery map of London.

It is available online

I'm not sure there is anything as detailed for other places.  You might find a description of social conditions for an area.
