I have pm'ed you the 1851 Census.

Susan Blight 1831 is living with Mother Mary and has 3wk old Susan with them.

Susans sisters marriage;

Mary BLIGHT
Michael DOWLING
March 1851
Falmouth
9 115

From the 1851 Census checked for Baptisms of children;
parents are HENRY and MARY

Catherine,Susan,Richard,Robert,Emma all born Falmouth

So the Susan Ellen BLIGHT birth 1854,Falmouth seems the right one

As Catherine is baptised Catherine Pascoe BLIGHT looked for marriage;

Henry BLIGHT
Mary PASCOE
25 September 1827, Falmouth, Cornwall (extracted)

The only thing is I have no idea where Henry is on all censuses he never appears with Mary. Maybe he always worked away from home until he died.

OK so between 1851-1861 Henry Blight, blacksmith dies ;)unfortunately 3 possibilities in Cornwall on Freebmd

Well done!  Great detective work with the Pascoe name.  I wonder if Henry was a miner working night shifts and therefore counted at the mine rather than at home.  Anyway you have really gone the extra mile for me so please have a break now.

I could do with some help in Sth Africa, but really have no idea what is available there.
My g/g/grandfather was a Captain and apparently the family was in Sth Africa abt. 1852-1864.
