Dorset OPC Stalbridge clerk has a transcription of the protestation return of 1641. I noticed that there several Seniors of a variety of spellings had signed. Perhaps this is of use?

Hi Malabar, Re reply no8. The Dorset IGI has recently been added to by Family SEarch, so I would think you didn't miss it; it just wasn't there the first time you looked.
