Is there an internet-site on which I can lookup a few BDM-certificates from Ceylon?
Looking for the birth-certificate of Frances Winifred Ambrose. According to the information I have she was born 01 01 1870 in Ceylon (don't know where).
She was married to a man with the surname Corteling (would like to know when they got married).
They had at least 2 children:
Francis Lance Ambrose Corteling, born about 1890, Haputale Ceylon
Otellie Sybil Corteling, born about 1892 Kandy Ceylon.
Frances remarried in 1898 to englishman Albert Thomas Wilson.
So when did Mr. Corteling die?
Any help and tips grately appreciated.
