hi sorry
missed that information annie is always born in Scotland,the marriage was Wakefield.
 1901 census she was in manchester [7 thistle street ]
 1911 census she was in manchester [36 duncan street ,manchester road ]

Looked on SP site and no Annie Quigg's are registered as being born there. BUT registration starts in 1855 so she might not be there anyway.

hope you don't mind me butting in but was browsing around and saw you plight. had a quick shifty at 1841 census for Scotland and found 2 Quigg families one in Lanarkshire and the other in Ayrshire. There also seems to be an Irish connection. These may be one generation back from your Annie Quigg but could not find Robert her father. Will keep looking and see if there is anything else, T

hi folks
and thankyou all for your help,i really dont understand why i cant find a mention of Annie Quigg and her father robert as they were both on the marriage certificate for robert Campbell and Annie Quigg,interesting there is 2 families in scotland and also possible irish connection must be a connection somwhere as it is such an unusual name.
