Marriage Lookup, please: James Paton & Harriet Ann Miller

I would be really appreciative if someone who has access to Canada BMD information could look up records (probably 1879-1888) for a marriage between James Paton (born 1863, Glasgow, Scotland) and Harriet-Ann Miller (born c 1864, England).

The bride may have been listed as Ann/Annie, which is how she appears in the 1891 Scotland census.

I know that James & Harriet-Ann had at least 2 children in Hamilton, Canada (James, born c 1887) and Beatrice (born c 1890) before returning to settle in Scotland in time for the 1891 census.

Beatrice Patton was born 21 Jun 1889 in Hamilton, Wentworth County, Ontario to James Patton and Annie Miller.

James Paton was also born in Hamilton.

Had another look at the marriage record and all I can report is:
"Ontario, Canada Marriages 1857-1924 - Microfilm Reel MS932-55"

Also looked at the original document and got this additional info:

Occupation of James Paton was Butcher, he was Presbyterian by Denomination and the witnesses to the marriage were Sarah Hughes and Rolf (or could be Robt, ie short for Robert) Paton.

James Paton Jr's birth records are recorded as:
"Ontario, Canada Births 1869-1909 - Microfilm Reel MS929-85".

All birth, marriage and death certificates in the Province of Ontario are given a registration number.  The registration number for James & Harriett's marriage is 012760. 

They were also married by Thos. S. Couler by license.

The registration number of James' birth is 039014 and for Beatrice it is 040409. The source for Beatrice's birth was Microfilm Roll Number: MS929_96.
