WW2 Volunteer from Jamaica
« on: Wednesday 10 June 09 11:54 BST (UK) »
Whilst sorting through old family photos I came across
one which must have been given to my grandad.

It's from a Jamaican Soldier called Edgar A. Lowe who was part of R.E.M.E.
and who must have been at Bovington Camp (military base)
in 1942,my grandfather was an instructor there. The dedication on
the picture says "from a good pal" and i'd love to find out more about him.

I can't go down the military records route as it's restricted to family members
and i've had no luck through other internet searches.

Is there really any chance of finding out who he was?
