Thought I would ask - there is a large family of Bibbys living around Potton, Bedfordshire.

Thoiught I would update this thread, I emailed both photos I had with queries on to The Lancs reg Museum in Preston :

The younger man (this photo) it is impossible to tell what regiment he was in. 
It is also hard to pin point the uniform era but i would go for pre WW1. 
Incidentally the 2nd Battalion of the SLANR were stationed at the Curragh in 1912 and 1913.

I now think I am going to have to hit the WW1 records to see if I can narrow it down to a name, I suspect he is a 'Bibby' or mayve 'Savage' as both families were in the right area at the right time.
