The marriage is listed in Ryde in 1914.

There is also a death for a Ruby M Dann in Cessnock, 1914.  How sad if it is her - only married the same year.

Thankyou, have marriage of 1914,and Harry died 1933, but Ruby died about 1950? so there is another of the same name.Think she died inSydney.Have not found anything else. Cant find parents or siblings.Ethel.

You may like to consider  that RUBY and her family did not use her first given name .
I cannot see a birth you mention for RUBY JORDAN at GRAFTON

there are 2 Ruby M's marrying DANNS,
the Ruby to Harry as mentioned, ref. already given, and being sought  and the 2nd one:
11509/1909 

DANN  Arthur H 
NEWMAN  Ruby M 
Reg. Dist. Kurri Kurri.
I think this one is more likely to be Ruby M. deceased in 1914 as Kurri  Kurri and Cessnock are both in the Hunter Valley, both mining towns.

Hi

Have you Harry's death cert?  It would show his place of burial.  Perhaps Ruby May is buried in the same grave.

On the Australian Electoral Roll - NSW - 1930 there is an enrolment for a  Harry DANN living at 65 Union Street, Paddington - no occupation.  There are no other DANN's at this address.

Can't see anthing for a Ruby May DANN on the electoral rolls.

Harry DANN deceased 18th April  1933 is buried Rookwood Independent Cemetery, No other burial noted.

I think you could be right Leanne - I only looked for "Harry' so didn't see Arthur &  Ruby 

I'll have a look for a death notice for Harry d 1933 next time I'm at the library if you like - won't be till at least Wednesday probably.

Do you have an apporoximate birth year for Ruby?
