Can't decipher occupation in census

Hi I was wondering if someone could look up a census record and help me to decipher the occupation.  It looks simple but I am not sure.
In the 1861 Census from Winterborne St Martin.  R.G. 9/1356  Folio 145 Pg 13
James Critchell aged 33 born in Martinstown.

I am not sure what his occupation is, I have come up with a couple of versions.  Maltman, Milkman, or maybe even millman.  I am just not sure and I would really appreciate some help.

the 1851 and 1871 census dont really help - he's an Ag Lab in 51 and a Lab in 71 ....
