My Georgina ADA died in NSW i have her death cert and the NSW bdm says her parents were William and Agnes

Wendy do you know when and where Georgina Ada was married?  The marriage certificate would give her date and place of birth.

Doesn't her death cert give place of birth?

she was married twice 1st 1895 north melbourne to richard barnes, then 1922 in perth to Richard Dennis.

Ill have to go dig up the death cert have moved and its in a box

parents william cummings a grocer and agnes bloomfield born melb died 1962 aged 87 1st marriage in 1895 says she was 20 so makes her born 1875 only find a marid ada 1875 to parents with that name?

I will have a look in some Melbourne Directories to see if I can locate Wm CUMMINGS, Grocer.

No Wm CUMMINGS, Grocer in the 1875 Directory.  Perhaps Wm was employed by someone else.

In 1892 there is a William CUMMINGS living at Gladstone Place, South Melbourne but his occupation is not listed.

If the family lived on the Mornington Peninsula they may not be listed in the Melbourne Directory.

Agnes CUMMINGS nee BLOOMFIELD b. 1831 was the daughter of William BLOOMFIELD and Elizabeth MURRAY b. Edinburgh Scotland.  Agnes married William CUMMINGS   on 29 March 1864 at the home of the  Presbyterian minister at Fitzroy.

I omitted posting the parents of William on the marriage cert.  More concerned about the parents of Agnes at the time of posting -
Parents of Wm - George CUMMINGS and Isabella SHORT.
Agnes aged 33 years.  Occupation not legible.
Wm is a Labourer aged 30 years.
