the 1901 census is due online at the National Archives website later this year...

unfortunately the 1911 and 1901 details are the only two surviving complete Irish Census returns pre 1926.

I m not sure if you have already done this, but another possible line of inquiry to try to locate an earlier address would be to check for residence details at the marriage of William and Margaret.

According to the census return they are married about 1 year in 1911, and both were born in Dublin city , so likely married there also...

The Irish civil index is available to search on the familysearch site at : http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#c=1408347;p=2;t=searchable

you can order cert with the index details from the GRO - www.groireland.ie

do you know Margaret's maiden surname from later birth records ?

The next census is out in 2011
The surnames, which I am interested in are; Maternal side: Ryan, Kevin, Grant, Grady, Gleeson, Walsh, Dwyer, Paternal side: O' Dwyer, Woodlock, Rochford & Britton - all in Tipperary; and Kelly and Hoynes in Laois.

Ryan, Campbell, Luttrell, Grant, Grahame, Bainbridge and Brown in Queensland, Australia

Tighe in Victoria, Australia.

Grant in Philadelphia, Sullivan and Penny in New York; and Britton in Connecticut

from the National Archives website : '..The 1926 Census Returns will be released to public inspection in January 2027...'

unless new legislation is enacted to release it earlier.

You could also sign the petition to have the 1926 Census released earlier at:
