William Jelly

William Jelly was my grandfather - married to Margaret.  They lived in Alexander Street, after moving from Abertillery Road, Blaina.
On the 1911 census it states that he worked at the local Co-op, but I don't know how long he worked there, does anyone remember him.
My father was also William Jelly, he was born in 1899, at one time he was a railway clerk (assume this was in Blaina station), however he left the area in the 1930's.
Any snippet of information would be welcome.
(I have all of the BMD certificates of the family, I am after information about what the family were like etc)
