Greensleves  :)
thanks for sending the image - I am going to have a drive up to Tredustan on the weekend to get a feel for the place. The house looks quite grand, I expect my ancestors lived in the little house next door ;D

Please could you give me a bit more help  :)
I have just looked back in some old notes from 5 0r 6 years ago, and found a reference [that may now make sense] to my families address in 1861 as possibly being at a place called Tredustan Mill? RG9/4223 [Hay Talgarth] Fol 53

Is anyone able to look at the 1861 census to see if Tredustan Mill is written down as the residence?

Hi Ricky

I think I can locate it now from googling Tredustan Mill, which seems to be a ruin on the River Llynfi. It may have been a farmhouse if Richard's father was farming 16 acres and may still be there.

This is so good  ;D

thanks again

 Ricky.
Really interesting link to the maps, I ve not seen that before, I can spot the motte and bailey on  this one, `tumulus` so it looks like the Hall is just below the name  Tredustan.
