« on: Wednesday 17 June 09 22:45 BST (UK) »
Could someone please steer me to cheeply locate the migration details of James STARK.

This is what I know about James STARK;
He was born in 1818 Kirkcaldy (per headstone),
Most probable baptism 19 Jul 1818, son of William STARK & Elisabeth PHILP,
He married Mary NEILL, 1 Jan 1844, St Andrews, Sydney, N.S.W.,
His headstone in the Goulburn General Cemetery, N.S.W. states; James STARK, 20 March 1854, 36y. Native of Kirkaldy, SCT. Erected by his wife.
Mary NEILL next married David Simpson LOWE in 1863.

Can you help?

Regards
Grantley

Have just had a look at The Goulburn Herald for March 25 and April 8 1854.  This is a weekly paper but April 1 is not there (perhaps it was Easter?).  Anyhow no mention of James STARK  in the main part of the paper nor in the paid death notices.

Thankyou Judith,

I hadn't considered an obituary.
