I have searched Victorian, Tasmanian, South Australian, Queensland, Western Australian and NSW death indexes and can't see a death for a Margaret/Margaret Emerson BANFORD/BAMFORD.  I am wondering if they emigrated to Australia. :-\

We have certainly been led to believe James Banford/Bamford and Margaret Banford/Bamford surely immigrated to Australia from Ireland -1870.  Does anyone know if there are passenger records in Ireland showing departures?  Or, arrivals in Sydney?

I am unable to help you with records of passengers leaving Ireland but there are passenger/shipping records for NSW here -
