Looking for Pamela Assenheim abt 1926
« on: Friday 19 June 09 15:45 BST (UK) »
I am looking for Pamela Assenheim born around 1926 to Isaac (Mickey) Assenhiem and Minnie?
Her half sister Rae  is trying to find her or any knowledge of her.
Pamela had to ask her father's permission to marry don't know who she married . She then disappeared. It is a long shot as we know so little but any help would be appreciated. We can't seem to find a birth or marriage for her.

Hi,

Do you know when Isaac and Minnie married or do you know Minnie's maiden name?  Using Minnie's maiden name it would be easier to search for Pamela's birth.

Perhaps Pamela is not her registered name; there are a few "possible" Assenheim births.

Are you certain that she was born in the London/Middlesex area?

Hi both,

There's an Isaac Assenheim - Miriam Da Costa marriage in Hackney, Mar 1922 but the only child born to them that I can see is a Rose in Sep 1922  ???

Hi all

I see that Miriam re-married in Rochford in Dec qtr 1927 to a Ronald Rothwell.  Had Isaac/Mickey died?

Answering my own question, I see that there were divorce proceedings in 1925:

So, would they have had a child a year after starting a divorce? Sounds unlikely, doesn't it?  :-\
