Hi Laura,

For some reason not notified for a posting on this topic, must have pressed a wrong button somewhere???

With the Origins subscription, not very pleased at all with what you can get on their site for the money but you can get a 72 hours sub for £7.50 which may be worth getting every now & then as they are updating records all the time.

Found 1 in Hunslet, 2 in Leeds & 1 for Guiseley for "chips"
CHIPPENDALE       MARY       HUNSLET       YORKSHIRE       1777, JAN       E       Will       vol.120, f.       1771011777060052.tif/19

CHIPPENDALE       THOMAS       LEEDS       YORKSHIRE       1763, MAY       E       Admon       vol.107, f.       1757061770120076.tif/30

CHIPPINDALE    CHARLES    LEEDS    YORKSHIRE    1857, MAY    P    Will    vol.244, f.411    2223/5

CHIPPINDALE       ARABELLA       GUISELEY       YORKSHIRE       1841, AUG       E       Admon       vol.204, f.       1840031842080064.tif/2

Sorry but my geography isn't very good in the West Riding but if you know of any more places, let me know.

Talking of chips, could just eat some fish & chips ;D

Hi Lynne
Just wondered if you could kindly look for 2 of my family names Kilvington and Fowler.  Dont think they will make a long list like some of your other names lol
Thanks

Hi Lynne:  I haven't worked out whether your list covers all of Yorkshire or only the North Riding.  ;D

I'm looking for Archbell and Allenby in the area of Tadcaster, Healaugh and York.

Would be grateful to know if there is anything in your list.  Many thanks.
