hi cando i dont know his son william did he arrived in 1836 supposed to be married was a gardener he lived at whittingham till death in 1857

William arrived as a married man

Application of married male immigrant

KILPATRICK
William arrived in Sydney 31 Oct 1837 aboard the ANDROMACHE. (Brought out by William Walker and Co) He was described as a native of Suriname Guiana South America, a gardener aged 24 years, born 25 Sep 1813. His father Samuel Kilpatrick - late colour sergeant 64th regiment.
Character and person certifying the same - Very good certified by Geo Gludenning Reg JP and 12 other highly respectable persons.
State of bodily strength, health and probable usefulness - Good
Religion - Episcopalian.
Remarks - nil


KILPATRICK Mary arrived in Sydney 31 Oct 1837 aboard the ANDROMACHE. (Brought out by William Walker and Co) She was described as a native of Westport County Mayo, a straw bonnet maker aged 21 years.
Character and person certifying the same - John Code - Vicar of Westport. - Good
State of bodily strength, health and probable usefulness - Good
Religion - Episcopalian.
Remarks - nil

No Children

There are a number of births to this couple up to 1858.

I cannot however see any sign of the father SAMUEL WILLIAM KILPATRICK., getting back to the original question.

I wonder if the  - late colour sergeant 64th regiment could also be interpreted as former colour sergeant 64th Regiment.  His records would be available at Kew Archives or you could contact the Staffordshire Regiment Museum
