I am looking for any & all information regarding the birth of John Chambers - b.1797-Guernsey, Channel Islands. I would love to know who his parents were?
He married Sarah Snuggs (b. 12 March 1808 Portsea Hampshire) on 20 Feb 1827 in Alverstoke, Hampshire England
John could have been a "Mariner"- per the Pallot's marriage record
Their son Henry Chambers- born abt 12 July 1839- Portsea Hampshire (married Emma Martha Clark)
