That is the volume on Wexford Town. The Portrait of Col Sinnott is in it on page 275. The armour is a seperate picture on 277. The original of the portrait was said to be in Ballymoyar House Co. Armagh in the late 1800s. He was not a "popular bunny" in Wexford.

I went back and did the search again and found it to be v. 4. I was unable to get to vol 5. Do you have a copy that you could scan the two photos and send to me?

You might want to check this out also:

There is another book, Sinnett Genealogy By Charles Nelson Sinnett which includes some information on Col. David Sinnett who defended Wexford Town.

It’s not available in any Irish library as far as I can see but is widely available in libraries in the USA,

Dara.

After looking at parts of this book for many years I just bought it. It deals with Sinnett's in Maine and I'm looking for ones in VA/Wa. But in Ireland there may be a connection, who knows. Thanks.

I only have the 1970s reprint and the photos are very bad. There may be one in my collection from another source. I will check this out and get back to you.
Regarding the other correspondent above Colonel Sinnott only "defended" Wexford up to a point. He then admitted Cromwell.

Apologies for the quality - the original print is not great.

As I mentioned above, this may not even be the right Sinnett line to persue in looking for Patrick, but it seems to get the most attention. Do you have any data on any Patricks in born in the 1750 timeframe? I really appreciate all the helpand time you have put in. Thank you.
