I couldn't see a marriage for a John Williams and an Ann Foulkes in Wrexham marriage Index 1825-1828 :(

Would you be able to do a similar check for Ruabon please?
I had a look at the microfiches at AN Palmer but there was an issue with them being out of date order or something as I recall.

When did the tradition of marrying in the brides parish start? If eldest daughter Jane was born in Bersham then it might (or might not) suggest that Anne Foulkes came from there too. Might it be worth looking a bit further back in Wrexham too?
