There is no birth for a Eily Beatrice DE LANY b.1893 with father S. J. DE LANY in the Victorian indexes.

The only birth that comes any near matching with father S. J. DE LANY [DELANY in index] is

DELANY Beatrice Gwendoline
Father Samuel Joseph  Mother Isabella Macdonald HUTTON
At Prahran  1895  Reg#23760

with sibling Leslie Stephen DELANY b. 1892.

Electoral Rolls
Western Australia 1925  -
DE LANY Isabella Macdonald 'Hillside"  Piesse  Home duties
DE LANY Leslie Stephen  Piesse    Farmer
DE LANY Samuel Joseph  'Hillside' Piesse    Investor

Eily Beatrice enlisted in Perth WA and her father who is NOK on her service record had a Western Australia address in 1917.

His spouse was Eily Beatrice Gwendoline de Lany

Perhaps they married in the UK.

There is information on a subscription only website which indicates that a Eily Beatrice DE LANY lived in the USA.

Cheers

From AWM -

http://www.rootschat.com/links/06lp/

England. C. 1945-04. Group Officer Eily Richdale of Melbourne, Vic, recently appointed WAAF staff officer at RAF Technical Training Command is a member of the De Lany family, well known in the Australian gold mining world. Her mother, Mrs M. De Lany, is living at York, WA. Group Officer Richdale served in the last war with the AIF. Since 1938 she has lived in England and joined the 99th (Bucks) RAF Company of the Auxiliary Territorial Service (British) 1938-11, transferring to the WAAF on its formation the following year. Her husband is Group Captain C. R. Richdale CBE, Provost Marshal of the Mediterranean Allied Air Force.

There is no marriage to 1939 on freebdm.

Interesting posts  there Leanne and Cando

Have tried  to find a marriage in Astralia but  no  luck as yet,  She seems to have returned from WW1 as unmarried.  Perhaps if we could find  the mother or fathers death notice  it might reveal if she was married at  the time.

http://www.bdm.dotag.wa.gov.au/_apps/pioneersindex/default.aspx
but death certs don't usually list the married names of any female issue, unless of course, they are the informant.

An obituary of either parent may be helpful.

Thanks to Jenn,Cando and Leanne, I have most of this information it's the marriage info and what happened after 1945 I'am mostly interested in, on Find my Past I have a couple with the same surnames ( Richdale) leaving India for England in1928, so I think they married between 1919 -1928 in England or maybe India, thanks again, Chris

I have her Service Record 1917-1919 that's about it,

I have most of this information it's the marriage info and what happened after 1945 I'am mostly interested in,

I understood from your first request that you had only her WW1 service record.

They were married by 1922 as there is a passenger record for a Capt Conroy Richdale 25 Soldier and Mrs Eily Richdale 25 from Bombay to Plymouth in 1922 on the Malwa.

As I mentioned previously there is no  marriage reg on freebdm in England. I have searched in India previously for bdm's and understand that it wasn't compulsory to register events.  I have searched here with nil result

If the information of a person with the same name [maiden name] in the US Directories is her, then you will need to purchase credits to view the information.
