I think whoever did the notations on this certificate, Sandy, took some short cuts....no lovely explanatory note like on your certificate.  :-\

But it has been interesting to find out what it's meaning was.  :D  :D

Thanks for the link, Stan.  :D

Just a note of interest, if Edith Elizabeth Taylor was the Edith Elizabeth Taylor that Ricky found in the 1901 Census aged 2, and is the one whose birth I've found on FreeBDM in 1898, then the original age of 25 would have been closer to accurate. She'd actually have been close to being 26.  ;D  ;D

Ricky, I've just spoken to Bert, the gentleman that I'm helping, and the son of Edith Elizabeth.  He tells me that you found the right family in 1901. I found William in earlier censuses, so now have the family back to 1841.

I'm well pleased with today's work.  :D  :D

Oh Sandy.....thankyou so much for the help .   :D  :D

It is so interesting to see the name Albert appearing as a Taylor brother.....that indeed confirms that I have the right family in the censuses back to 1841.

And the name Albert was used for the little boy who was 4 in 1901 and I've found his death aged 9.  :'(

It's also the name of the son of Edith Elizabeth whom I am helping.  :D  :D

Glad that you are progressing with this person's ancestry
and have gone so far already.

We are both "old hats" at it now aren't we.  :)
