This is food for thought.  I guess it could be a case of dessertion. I also guess Edward had his reasons why he went to Victoria as well.

Edward's second wife was 55 years old when he died

Looks like this Hannah/Anna Lainson was born abt 1845

I wonder when she left the UK to come out to Australia

Edward's wife Hannah died 8/12/1893 Stroud, NSW. Have checked this out and Edward is not buried with her.  I have tried to look on the BDM site online but do not see a match there

Hope you will not mind me asking, but are you  perfectly certain this is the right Hannah.?
Indexed with father George and mother not known. Correct?

Do you have the certificate [You do refer to a "print out"]

Yes Sue,

I did have a printout but have missplace it.
Yes Hannah 1 Parents were George PAYNE and Unknown were written on it

Yes I am certain that is the correct one  as my uncle has the printout and I am going to get myself another copy at the end ot the month

The marriage certificate for Edward and Hannah 1 has:
Edward COLEMAN father John COLEMAN does not have wife's name
Hannah PAYNE father George PAYNE does not have wife's name

Edward and Hannah 1 were married on 28 July 1844
The parish of Bungay St Mary, Suffolk, England

I take it the death cert image for Edward Coleman has both wives listed?

First wife is unknown unknown but has London England which is close enough
Second wife is listed as Anna Lainson  Carlton, Victoria, 55 years

So does that mean Anna/Hannah was 55 whe she married Edward

Under the childrens names it say supposed to be alive.
Isaac died 1902 and William died 1908
I have William's death certificate in front of me

No, if it is on his death certificate, it means that is her age at his death.
