Vic Death Index Lookup 1923 ish - Sarah RICHMOND

Hi everyone

Unfortunately my Vic indexes finish @ 1920 so I was hoping someone might be able to look up the following death for me please.

Sarah Richmond 1923.

Fingers crossed this might be my missing ggreat aunt. My Sarah was born 1842 in Tassie.

Back to the drawing board I think - will have to see I can find a marriage  for her somewhere. I have had a look before but nothing stood out at me.

Are we looking Tasmania or Vic.  Unfortunately the early marriages in Vic do not list place of birth so it will be difficult to identify her.  Gosh I am sounding negative today :(

Ok am leaning more towards Victoria as the mother Matilda moved from Tassie to Vic with her small kids circa 1857/58 after the death of her hubbie Joseph George Richmond in Tassie in 1857.

Hi,

Have you checked the Tasmanian records as they have a death for a Sarah Richmond  in 1854 born1842  mother Matilda PITT:

full list of  6 siblings and at least one Matilda Jane Richmond  married in Victoria to Frederick Samuel Bremner in 1867#2991

Also full history on Matilda and her parents names her marriage  etc.

The age is not correct but it is the only Sarah RICHMOND death on the index.
