seen it several times on ruthwell stuff some of these places no longer exist betty is on the same page as my 5x  grandfather george bell i wonder if he was an agricultural worker i csc

thanks all my Douglas lot were agricultural labours I think its in my blood I would love to have married a Farmer

yes that is James  he married Ann Smith thats the two that died 2 /12/1848 of cholora
james Douglas father was David Douglas and his mother Jane Walker .David Douglas was born Ruthwell c1768 dont know anything about Jane Walker
