Hi All,

Trying to track down the burial information for a Charles DICKIE born 1804 would more than likely be burried next to a Margaret, Margery or Marion NIVEN,

Can't seem to find him on the 1871 census so may have passed before

there is 2 matches coming up on sp for charles dickie death between 1860 & 1870,eva
mcgilp & pringle,kilbride ,bute                                                 
mackie,fife .                                                                 
brabender& pringle,glasgow.edward biggar,peebles                                                 
pringle&brown,& aitken,glasgow ,                                                           
wight,east lothian & borders.little,lothian.

Thanks for your reply, does it say where in paisley as I'm finding some issues on tracking down where he is buried and whether its him or not

Bit off topic but do you have a Robert Dickie born 1875 married to Charlotte Gregory also born 1875 in your tree? I'm pretty sure Charlotte was born in Paisley but don't have many more details as yet - still working on it.

Hi J,

I have a Robert Dickie as a child of Charles but he was born in 1847 in Paisley Scotland and he married a Margaret Thomson in Paisley abbey in 1871, so may be another Dickie family as I know around the time Charles was born there were 2 - 3 Dickie families in paisley.
