1861 Rye Look-up please. Lewis Tickner

Lewis Tickner born 1828 in Rye or one census says Kent Wittersham

Lewis is sometimes spelt Louis or even Lewes on 1871 census I have him living with wife Harriet Tickner.

June C Barnes has transcribed a lot of East Sussex 1851 including Rye.  (and some 1841)
50 St Helen's Park Rd Hastings TN34 2DN send sae for further details and charges.
You can also get them from the Sussex Family History Group.  I believe they are coming out on CD
