Looking for an old map of Berwick and surrounding area say 20 radius. Any ideas?

You don't say what date, but there are two choices that I know of.

http://www.old-maps.co.uk

which are OS maps from different dates.  Zoomable etc, but can be quite difficult to make out sometimes.  I always use a modern map in conjunction, just to get my bearings and note any changes in spelling.

The other is the National Library of Scotland.

There is a wide choice and large scale maps of Berwick upon Tweed are included with one of the county of Berwick dated 1822.  Again zoomable and really very clear.

If you are looking for more information about the Berwick area orpheusweb.co.uk/Berwick has the 'Directory and Concise history of Berwick upon Tweed. There is a map showing farmsteads within a 12 mile radius. It also has some really interesting information about Berwick and places nearby.

Brilliant - thanks for that - My main interest was Howtel, Ford, Kilham, Reedsford, Housedonhaugh area.
