Mrs. Woodfield of Birmingham
« on: Tuesday 14 July 09 03:54 BST (UK) »
Hi looking for any possible information on a Mrs.Woodfield. I know she was born in Ireland maiden name Simpson, however do not know her first name. She was born sometime between 1880-1911 to James and Elizabeth/Eliza Simpson. At some point immigrated to England and settled in Birmingham as of 1942. Do not know if it was before or after her marriage.

Any information is helpful!

Thank you again Michael! I did have a little more info on this couple since I posted this...

I am curious though why the couple would have 2 wedding registers, one in Ireland and one in England...was it common to wed twice? Perhaps in Ireland with Elizabeth's family then in England with George's?

Thanks! Torrie
