Paul
Link seems to work although when I put in a surname the results have nothing to do with that surname  :'(

That's a shame I found it very good, the only problem especially with the death certificates is that search will give you every certificate that mentions that name, even if they were the informant of the death and my great grandmother was a local midwife so it took me ages to find hers.  What area were you looking at ?

Did searches in Death Registers, Grave Memorials and Great War Dead for Ramsey (surname).
It looks as there are no results for those surnames (Great War Dead was just a chance) and perhaps there's no headstone but Death Registers say "Records of all deaths registered in Co. Waterford from January 1st 1864 until December 31st 1901" and there are at least 2 Ramsey deaths in Waterford during that period (John 1899 and Robert 1898).

That is a bit strange especially when they say they have all records, Did see a John Ramsey under trade directors but that is 1909 a bit late for your John Ramsey

John Samuel Ramsey was listed in 1909/1910 directory and died 1912 (age 54). I am waiting for 1911 census to find name of wife and sons (have lovely old photograph taken in Waterford of two boys in sailor suits who should also be listed in the census!). I think the Robert died 1898 as an infant is his son.
