Sorry to bother you again, ive been trying to use the family search site, but im unable to even find what you found, ive tried to navigate the site several times but dont seen to find anything, can you tell me what im doing wrong, ive went to the advance search and then to international index, but nothing....

Input fathers name and surname and mothers christian name and surname (Duff)

REGION – select British Isles from the menu

COUNTRY – select Scotland

COUNTY (will appear when you select COUNTRY)  – select Lanarkshire

Click SEARCH

Ok ive done that, im i right in saying that it would only show up thomas harvey and mary duff marrying in 1858 but no children at the time, "its the only record that comes up" I know you found later dates with other info... but i cant find it..... im not one for giving up on something but i think im doing something wrong....

Hi

I think you are doing something wrong.  For the parent search - I suspect you are putting their names in the First Name *Last Name   fields?

If so - that is where you are going wrong

They need to be in  Father Last Name
                                                 Mother Last Name
