Thanks for letting us know, Gerry, that's good news.

Stirlingshire (and Falkirk) are of great interest to me as that is where my husband hails from.  His family were from Madiston, Laurieston and the general Falkirk area, and he was born in Laurieston.  An uncle of his was in the military and died in India between the two world wars.  I know absolutely nothing more than that and while information for those killed on active service is not so difficult to find (with perserverance) details of deaths in service between the wars are incredibly hard to track down, especially remotely.

Could it be that this CD will hold the information I've been looking for?

I wonder if the magazine comes to Australia - and how long after publication?

Not queries as such, just "thinking aloud".  Might have to check with some of the local newsagents and see what they have to say.

Is the magazine really titled "who do you think you are"?  (Genuine question  :D)

Will start my tracking of the magazine next time I'm in the local mall.  Who knows - I just might get lucky.

Thanks, Billy.

I am sure the magazine will be around in my local area - I've always avoided looking at them because the cost is so huge and I don't want to be tempted!!  There is always the odd exception, though, isn't there?

At the moment I've family visiting from interstate so my "other" interests have to go on the backburner for a few days.  As soon as this whirlwind is over I'll concentrate on rootling out a newsagent who can give me some more information.
