William BOND b1713

Is anyone researching the Bond family that goes back to William?H was married to Sarah Speed.I can't get further than he was born about 1713(place unknown)I've managed to find Sara's maternal GF Ed Murrow b1660,but would really like to find William's parents.Any help appreciated thanks.

 Hi Patricia, The Bond family lived mainly in ditcheat.William married ann unk but she died in 1743 He then married Sara speed(27/03/1744).I think he may have been born in bridgewater.I've found 8 children including Tom(1751/1806) who is my line of descent William died1768 in ditcheat i think he was buried in mary magdalene cemetery.sara lived 1720/1797

Hi Gilly,

Looking at records from another internet recource and FreeREG (have you tried FreeREG - http://freereg.rootsweb.com/cgi/Search.pl - BTW?), I found 5 registrations for William Bond in Bridgwater between 1703 and 1713.  One was born 1713.

It will certainly be worth your while to look at the others though, dates could be anything up to 10 years out that far back...

There do appear to be MANY Bonds in Bridgwater, quite an extensive family by the looks of things.
