You can
Search for regional press titles geographically using our Daily or Weekly/Sunday maps

It is worth doing a google search for Taunton Newspapers because some of them have an archive which is accessible on-line.

Accessing their web site and recent copy will also show you which are most likely to carrya death notice.

If you go to
www.thisissomerset.co.uk
there is a map to the right "where I live'
choose Taunton and it will take you to the local newspaper.
It 'may' have an archive but will almost certainly have a 'contact us',
you'll find the staff most helpful.

Hi
I live not too far from Taunton, and in all certainty if you are looking for a death of recent times in Taunton itself, the obituary would have been posted in the Somerset Gazette. They do have a website so I am sure you will find it online.
