Welsh/English translation please

Taken from Beddgelert St.Mary's Memorial Inscriptions the following nhas me beat;


"yn 1 fldd. oed"

I know oed is age, but what is fldd please?

It is short for blwyddyn (year).  The beginnings of Welsh words change according to what comes before them, hence the F instead of a B!

So this child was one year old.
