Hi there

I am trying to locate a birth record of a William Greenaway Poole. All I know is that he was born in 1807 dont know where. And he died in 1868 Greenwick London.

Also looking for the marriage of him, he marriage a Elizabeth Sarah, they had a daugter called Catherine Elizabeth Poole B1835 Camberwell London.

Do you have William on all or any of the census?  Hid death certificate?  Any information from his daughter's baptism or marriage certificate ie. anything that might help confirm his whereabouts and fill in the missing years working back to his marriage to Elizabeth Sarah?  There is a later, possible 2nd marriage, and a chap who fits the description in the 1861 census, piano dealer.

In marriage records prior to 1837, no parents are ever listed - there was no requirement to do so and no "box" in which to enter the names.

That is a shame about that. How do I go about and find when Elizabeth Sarah Perry was born and where is there any site I can go to as I am trying to find another relative as well
