BARR family of Dromore 1841 Census

Index to civil registration (online on LDS Pilot site) only goes up to 1922 for Northern Ireland unfortunately).
Marriage certificate for Elizabeth (Baxter) Barr should list her father's name and occupation but meantime here's Baxter baptisms from Macosqun Presbyterian Church (1830-1841) just in case you are able to make a connection sometime:

Thanks for that - have come to a standstill online re Gilmour Barr/Elizabeth Baxter so have ordered their marriage certificate, and hopefully both fathers' info will tie in with what you have given me.

Don't think Barrs, Killykergan are any connection (they were Church of Ireland as far as I can remember).

I have found no connection between the Barrs of Dromore yet, was a bit of a long shot.

I have Gilmour Barr's (Killykergan) marriage certificate (21.4.1876) to Eliza Anne Baxter (Gorran), which took place in Macosquin Presbyterian Church. His father was Archibald (Labourer) and Eliza's was James (Weaver).

Brilliant! Now we might get somewhere! Have to go through all my notes but have large family tree for Archibald Barr of Killykergan's descendants- too much to post. If you send my a PM with an email address I can send it to you that way.

Just to add fuel to the fire as they say, I have a gilmore barr in my tree his father is John and his grandfather Archibald.
My  John moved to Belfast but Gilmore is not a popular name of that time- any connection.

My Gilmour was born 1847c, his father was Archibald. I do have his marriage certificate. He is my maternal great great grandfather - my grandmother's name was Kathleen Montgomery (nee Barr).

How are you related - if you don't mind me asking?
