I'm trying to identify a uniform - where is it best to post my query with photograph?
Davis & Goad in Kent and Sussex; Bennett & Wheeler in East London, Essex and Kent;

Hi Peter :)

If you belive it to be a uniform from the forces post on the Armed forces board which has WW1 and WW2 etc. There are many experienced people on there.

thanks for your help, but I suspect it's not a military uniform - no badges - just fancy patterns on jacket and a flat cap - its a woman age late teens/early twenties, c1910

Post on the Photo Restoration board then and state that you just want ID.
I expect someone might want to restore it too.  ;)
