John Dobson is presumably Jane's "other man"!

And Jemima Scott (who was John Sharp's other woman in 1891) is interesting in 1901!
She is at RG13 4321 33 2, still in nether Hoyland, but now describing herself as a widow
BUT she now has a string of children right down to a 1 year old!
(four born since last census .... did she go back to husband or are these actually little Sharpes!)

Looks like Jane registered him, as Sharp, which was her surname at the time - but he was not a child of her husbands, therefore father could not go on cert without his permission (in theory anyway).
With the middle name Dobson and the evidence of her living as if married to Mr D, I think we can be pretty sure that he is a child of Mr Dobson (though of course no one will ever know for sure!). Very unusual, and fortunate, that you have such strong clues as to the father of an illegitimate child.
