do you have any idea when she died???
some death certificates will show maiden name if woman was married.maybe if we could find the death we could find the name that way.

ok i have them.
john benson married fanny hardy blandford district september qtr 1853.volume number 5a page 427 should you wish to send off for certificate.
i had some units left and took an educated guess with birth of first son and her age and second page ilooked i found john so only used 3 units in all confirming his wife was fanny hardy .

I shall definitely get that cert. asap. 

then the next task is to find the HARDY/VACHRE connection.
After years of telling me his Greatgrandma was called VACHRE, there has to be a connection somewhere !!
Especially when Fanny calls one of her children Fanny Elizabeth Vachre Benson (1864)

But that's another story, for another day !

looking on free bmd the name vacher is mostly associated with blandford in dorset where jane the mother was born.looks promising for a connection somewhere to your family.the parish records would be best best .sorry cant help with them havent got access to them .
