Slip of the index finger---- I meant 1950`s not 1959`s. Do I see a sword /sabre hilt at the officer`s left side?Do let us know when you have it solved. Viktoria.

You asked to let you know when it was solved.
The Armed Services Board  who enlisted the help of the Once a Marine Forum have come up with a positive id of Dai Morgan who was drill instructor for a number of years and won his DCM in Malaya.
I can find a Morgan family link in our family tree so just have to find where he fits.
