I found a copy of the marriage entry in the St Sidwell's register.

The transcription is as follows:

Richard Denley of the Parish of Lympstone Labourer and
Sarah Ridler of this parish spinster were married in this
church by licence this Eighth day of September one thousand
Eight hundred & Eleven ____ by me James Newcombe Curate

This marriage was solemniz'd            The mark X of Rich'd Denley
                Between                          The mark X of Sarah Ridler

In the presence of                             The Mark X of Rob't [Unable to Read Surname]
