Does anyone have any information regarding a 1920 /1930 youth / young person's Jazz Band named the Alamara'. I think it was possibly a community organized band as opposed to any thing private. My parents married in 1933 and the story goes that they meet whilst members. My father played drums, my mother danced and sang as part of the girl's troupe. They would have been dressed in some kind of eastern costume.
Help, however great or small, would be much appreciated.
